Frequently asked questions
Can a foreigner buy on the coast?
Yes. Near the coast you buy through a bank trust (fideicomiso) or a Mexican company. Trish connects you with a notary who explains each step.
What currency are prices in?
Every price says its currency (MXN or USD) and whether it is a total, per month or per night. Conversions are estimates and show the date of the rate.
What do I need for a long-term rental?
Usually ID, a deposit, and a guarantor (aval) or a rental guarantee policy (póliza jurídica). Trish tells you what each owner asks before the viewing.
How do I add my property to the rental network?
Message Trish. After the onboarding fee there is a video call, you upload your documents to the portal, Trish visits the property and, once approved, it goes live.
How are tours and transfers paid?
A deposit online when you book; for transfers, the rest in cash to the driver. Tips are not included.
Do you help in English?
Yes, in Spanish and in English.
